Our four-star Chaffinch lodge is ideally suited for short romantic breaks as it spaciously sleeps two. It features an en-suite bathroom with a double-ended bath and separate shower, leather sofas, flat screen TV, CD and DVD player – to create a truly luxurious holiday experience. All lodges also come with linen, towels and bathrobes provided.

Cooking facilities at the lodges are perfect for romantic suppers for two. Whether you come in summer and eat alfresco, or snuggle up in the cosy warmth of your cabin in winter you will find everything you need is to hand. Barbecues are provided in season and all lodges have garden furniture with views out over the lake.

Should you wish to venture out, you can explore the Suffolk countryside, enjoying romantic walks together and taking in the scenery. Close by is the historic town of Woodbridge, which offers an array of restaurants and entertainments set against the backdrop of an ancient and interesting market town.

Orford, Framlingham, Walberswick, Aldeburgh and Southwold offer stunning scenery, excellent restaurants, curio shopping and art galleries.
