Clay pigeon shooting at Coopers Country

We are always looking for ways to make your holiday with us more unique and memorable and this year we have teamed up with some local businesses to offer you something a little bit different during your stay. We recently visited Coopers Country to try our hand at clay pigeon shooting. The warm welcome and informal introductory chat talk put us at ease whist giving us the opportunity of meeting the other people in our group, all of whom had differing levels of experience. After the briefing of how to shoot clays we then went with the Coopers Country team into their private woodland to shoot. Our combined experience of shooting i.e., having very little and none whatsoever did not matter in the slightest and in fact added to the occasion. It was great to try something new and different. The tuition and guidance we received during our shoot was excellent and we were both delighted when we actually managed to shoot some of the clays! Light refreshments were then served whilst we chatted about our morning with the Coopers Country team and the rest of the group – A welcome end to a hugely enjoyable morning.
